General information
I commenced practice as a commercial barrister at the independent bar in 2006. Prior to that was a litigation partner in one of Auckland's leading boutique commercial law firms.
I accept briefs in a wide range of civil and commercial litigation including contract and tort disputes, commercial leases, employment and insolvency, and I have specialist experience in property, building and construction law, including leaky building
disputes.
I have appeared at all levels of the New Zealand courts, including as lead counsel in the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court of New Zealand.
I also appear regularly as counsel in Arbitrations, Construction Adjudications and Mediations.
I am a Fellow and Council Member of the Arbitrators' & Mediators' Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ), and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
I accept appointment as Arbitrator in a wide range of commercial disputes.
