General information

Fairfield Pet Lodge is a boutique facility situated on approximately 4.8 hectares, just five minutes from the rural township of Clevedon, Auckland.

A family business, Anton, his wife Crisna, and their daughter Ashlee, have a love for animals that enables them to provide an outstanding service. Anton has served about 15 years in the Police force, with 12 of those years as a dog handler. His extensive training covers an abundance of areas such as Psychology of Canine, Obstacles and Agility, Command Delivery, Open Area Search, Scent Theory, Tracking/Trailing, Article and Building Searching, Tactical Policing, Medical and First Aid/Care, Feeding, and kennel management.

Anton is at the forefront of the business, building personal relationships with his clients. He prefers to offer a client-centric approach rather than the “one solution fits all”, assuring that Anton finds solutions, where possible, to suit everyone’s individual needs.

Fairfield Kennels & Cattery offers 15 outside runs of various sizes. The tranquil setting provides dogs with a rural retreat - a real “doggy paradise” where Anton believes that dogs should be able to enjoy doggy things; digging, barking, chasing, runnings, being part of a pack when enjoying social time, being exposed to other farm animals in the adjacent paddocks, or just resting and enjoying the beautiful views.

A unique offering that Fairfield Kennels & Cattery provides is their in-house dog stays. If you would like your dog to really feel like part of the family, your beloved pet will get the opportunity to live with Anton and his family in their home. Your dog will have their own sunroom, bed, and can roam free like any beloved pet should. This service is at the discretion of Anton and extra costs apply. Please note that strict criteria applies and this service is ideally suited to puppies or small to medium sized dogs.

Fairfield Kennels & Cattery’s general pick up and drop off times are 8-10am, and 4-5pm, 7 days a week. Dogs that stay for longer than 10 days will receive a complimentary basic groom.

Other services available include;
- Pet taxi pick up and drop off service
- Basic Grooming (wash, brush, hair clip)
- Dog Walks
- One-on-one dog training (basic obedience, tracking, open field searches)

Price Range:
Small dogs (as a guide - under 10kg) $25
Medium dogs (as a guide - 10-20kg) $26
Large dogs (as a guide - above 20kg) $28
Doggy day-stay $15
Once off administration surcharge of $20 and a full day in/out charge applies to all bookings received between 20 December to 10 January, and Easter

Hours:
Open 7 days per week, however kennels & cattery will be closed for pickup and drop off on 25 December, 1 & 2 January.
Pick up & drop off times are 8 – 10 am & 4 - 5pm
Peak season 20 December – 15 January & Easter
