Hello, Kia Ora. My name is Wendy Watson and I'm a Registered, Independent Marriage Celebrant.

Congratulations! This is a very special time and the beginning of a beautiful and memorable journey for you both. You've probably picked your Wedding Date and booked your Venue. Now you're looking for your Marriage Celebrant.

My philosophy is very simple - "Your Ceremony is about you, it's your day, your way." If you want your ceremony to be traditional or contemporary, simple or elaborate; I can help you make your ideas for your Wedding Ceremony become a reality. I will work alongside you to ensure that your Ceremony reflects who you are as a couple; and is everything that you've dreamt it will be for your special day. I love that my job as a Celebrant is a continuous learning process and I am completely open minded to all types of ceremonies. There are many ways to add elements of intimacy and ceremonial symbolism, designed to articulate and underpin the loving bond between two people.

My role as a Marriage Celebrant is to guide you through your Ceremony planning process, and to support and prepare you for your Wedding Ceremony on your special day. I strongly believe that my clients deserve to have a Celebrant who will engage with them on a personal level and ensure that they will be safely held during their ceremonial moments. I will make sure that you are both taken care of during your ceremony planning and on your Wedding Day.

I'm a young, experienced and professionally trained Celebrant with strong communication and interpersonal skills. I strive to create original, modern ceremonies; that are personal, inclusive, real and authentic. I have a nice, clear speaking voice and your ceremony will be delivered with warmth, sensitivity, empathy and grace.

I welcome Same Sex couples and I look forward to working with you. I truly believe that everyone has a choice to make a formal, public commitment to the person they have chosen to spend their life with; regardless of their gender, and marry the person they love.

The Celebrant Profession is a wonderful, privileged profession to belong to and I absolutely love my job! It is an honour to be able to assist my clients to create wonderful and lasting memories during the ceremonial moments in their lives.
