At Lighthouse At Home, We believe that quality , affordable childcare should be available to everyone in New Zealand and have made it our mission to give everyone a choice for quality in a caring home based, intimate environment with high teacher ratios.

Instead of giving the government's funding to shareholders and overseas investors, we give the funding back to you as parents in the form of highly subsidized fees.

We can offer an hourly charge as low as $3, and completely free 20ECE hours.

Children are at the heart of everything we do and this is reflected in our commitment to our children, our educators, our teachers and the parents and community that we serve.

Lighthouse hand picks our home based educators, choosing only educators who have a passion for children and a genuine interest in seeing children succeed. Our educators work in their own home or the family’s home which needs to be approved by Lighthouse to ensure it meet our high standards of being able to support quality care for the children in a engaging and inspiring environment.

Our educators receive regular training and professional development, have free access to an extensive library of resources, educational toys and activities and have access to some of the most experienced expert coordinators in Early Childcare in New Zealand.

Lighthouse coordinators are fully qualified teachers with at least 7 plus years experience in the ECE industry. Most of our co-coordinators are ex-centre managers, Centre-owners or experts in the field who specializes in training other ECE teachers. The coordinators offer support for both the children and educators and focus on looking at the child’s individual development and progress.

Our families benefit from exclusive family oriented events through the year, from small intimate events for a few dozen families to large scale events where all our families and the community can come together and celebrate the gift that is their child.

We are heavily involved in the communities we serve and We are constantly looking for ways to contribute and give back to our community.
