MSS Waikato works with mainly men and boys who have experienced emotional, physical, mental or sexual abuse. Childhood sexual abuse is prevalent in Aotearoa NZ and we are dedicated to helping people move beyond the consequences abuse that victims are forced into. Males who have been victimised face specific barriers and hurdles to coping with assault and abuse that can differ from female victims. Male Support Services are one of the few organisations that focus primarily on male victim support and advocacy.
