On the 20th June 1989 'Kate Smyth House of Travel' opened its doors to the general public of Morrinsville. 18 Years on in 2007 the then flourishing business welcomed Carol Sutton as Co-Owner/Operator alongside Kate Smyth becoming 'House of Travel Morrinsville'
With a vision towards becoming the Waikato's number one travel provider and the support of the local community the pair made the move to acquire House of Travel Cambridge and House of Travel Te Awamutu in early 2011. Then in February of 2012 House of Travel Hamilton City (Then located in Garden Place) was acquired as a part of the group. Finally in August of 2015 House of Travel Matamata was established to form the final link in the groups Waikato network.
House of Travel in the Waikato is now a leading travel provider for the Waikato region providing for Leisure, Corporate and Group travel requirements but as always the groups top priority is its people, both its 30 strong staff and its highly valued clients.
