Inspired Kindergartens and Home Based Education offers quality preschool education to over 900 children through its network of 20 kindergartens and home based education services.
We have kindergartens between Whangamata in the north and Murupara in the south-east while our home based services operate between Whitianga and Taupō.
Formerly known as Tauranga Region Kindergartens Inc – Ngā Kōhungahunga Manawanui - we are one of New Zealand's largest and longest serving early childhood education providers and are an affiliate of New Zealand Kindergartens Inc (NZK).
We are a not for profit community based organisation governed by an elected Board. We are developing the bi-cultural relationship established by Aotearoa/New Zealand's founding document Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
Our staff of more than 140 includes a 100% qualified and registered early childhood teacher workforce. It's one of the many things that makes us unique.
We believe early learning is a partnership with parents and whānau. Together we want to engage young children in authentic learning experiences with the space, freedom and care that builds self-confidence, independence and individuality.
