Join me - a proud Napier Mum who loves Hawkes Bay, it's people, my family, the community, and supporting others via this awesome social media platform. Out and About with kids in Hawkes Bay is a forum where we can connect, chat, share ideas and support each other in our role in bringing up the next generation in a place we can all be proud of - our beautiful Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Together we can nurture and support the next generation in the wonderful environment we have and raise healthy, strong, caring, kind individuals....hopefully with empathy and community spirit...the basis of a strong country I believe.

I'm sure you'll all agree that life doesn't stop when you become a parent..in fact its really just the start of another super exciting chapter. You don't have to stop having fun or having coffee out with the girls..you just have to find the right place for you and your bubs. We as a family have found lots of great walks, parks, events, cafes, markets, shops etc that we never knew existed 4 years ago!
I've created this page as a resource for us Mums (Dad's, grandparents etc) to share hot tips on what's great in the Bay to do with babies and children. Maybe even the odd tip on events coming up, clothing sales, your favourite cafe etc! My focus is currently the baby and pre schooler stages and I've by no means found everything that there is to see and do! So lets get sharing and together we can build a resource to make living in the Bay with our little ones even more fun and exciting! Out and About has become a platform for many things..child related or not if we can use the good old fashioned "grapevine" to share info and help one another then it's all good in my books. Sharing is caring.

...I will from time to time do a write up of something I like..a product, place,shop etc..I'm not getting financial gain from this..just sharing what I find great...and what I'm passionate about! If I share a page advertising a sale..it's for all to benefit from! Just sharing the love!...feel free to send me links to things that I can share! Your input is appreciated! Thank you. You may send me any info you wish via messenger and I will at my discretion post in in an available timeslot (schedule). I'm a Mum, a wife, a business owner so what I do on this page has to fit in with a very busy schedule but I love the role of community worker/facilitator and will continue on with the passion I have always had. Most messages will be answered within 24 hours. I get over 1000+++ a week so bear with me xxx
