Welcome to Manawatu Gymsports Inc. Palmerston North, New Zealand Gymnastics Club for Pre-School, AfterSchool, Adult, Trampoline & Men's & Women's Artistic Gymnastics.

Gym for ALL (recreation gymnastics timetable & description):-

Gym for All is about discovery, creativity, enjoyment and is all inclusive. Promoting fun, health & wellbeing, Gym for All offers everyone the opportunity to explore movement from Early Childhood to Adulthood.

Gym for All plays a vital role in the development of the whole sport through being a foundation for all competitive disciplines. Gym for All is a discipline in its own right with opportunity for participation in events at Club, National & International Level.

Gym for All provides something for everybody through catering for all levels of abilities & ages.

An Early Childhood programme which assists in the development of children under 5 years of age. It embraces a philosophy of providing open-ended, broad-based, child-centered and fundamental activities to promote the development of children into healthy , active, social adults.

A teaching programme based on the fundamental movement patterns of gymnastics-Landings, Spring, Swing, Locomotion, Rotation, Statics & Manipulative Skills. This program will prepare the gymnasts to progress smoothly into the Incentive Awards Program

Incentive Awards
This is an integrated programme combining exercises & conditioning activities. Gymnasts work through ability levels 1-7 to gain awards & recognition for each level reached. Some Gymnasts may start at a higher level depending on individual ability levels.

Selected gymnasts from current Gym for all programme combining the Incentive Award programmes (as above) but further challenging strength, power, flexibility, agilities, grace, artistic creativity and mixing in performance gymnastics.

We are adding a little spice & variety into our programme this term. This class is brand NEW to Manawatu Gymsports. First hour Hip Hop dance lesson run by a well-known local qualified dance instructor then moving onto Performance Gymnastics- Dance, Music, Tumbling, Vaulting, Mini-Tramp and much more... for advanced Rec Gymnasts or Current/Ex Competitive gymnasts.

A nice blend of past & present gymnasts, new to the sport or just giving it a go for health & well-being or just for fun, you may have a background in martial arts and wish to add gymnastics tumbling to your training....what ever the desire, come along in a safe but fun environment.
