General information

RS Motorcycles is my business I run from 23 Parliament Street in Lower Hutt, I repair and service all types of motorcycles, scooters and quad bikes.
I spent 10 years working in Wellington as a senior motorcycle technician prior to opening RS Motorcycles in March 2016.
I have extensive knowledge and experience with all things suspension for road, race and dirt bikes. From basic set up right through to custom valving and upgraded shocks.
Over the past 5 years I have been the Race Mechanic with locally based race teams. Most recently with John Oliver, Oliver Racing, who is two time BEARS champion for the Suzuki Tri Series, including several wins at the famous Cemetery Circuit. I also sponsor current VMCC Intermediate Champion, Roger Cathro, on his Yamaha R450.
I prepare and maintain several track day bikes and club level race bikes including my own. I can help from basic set up for doing track days to complete race bike builds to race at national level.

I perform all servicing and repairs you need for your road bike, scooter or off road bike all at a reasonable cost. As I am a small, independent workshop you avoid all the costs associated with using a large main dealer, and I can give you a far more personal service. You deal directly with me and we can work together to get your bike exactly how you want it.
I also take on "project bikes" so if your after a restoration or custom build I'm your guy. Some builds I do just for my own pleasure and from time to time these bikes will come up for sale, watch this page!
I can also help with sourcing particular bikes both locally and imported give me a call to chat about finding that special machine! Or if you are looking to buy and want someone to check it over I’m happy to help.
I am of course fully qualified, GST registered and fully insured to look after you and your bike.
I offer a collection and delivery service, within the Wellington region, if your bike is broken down or not road legal. I will normally do pick ups and drop offs outside business hours or on the weekend so it doesn't impact on your work week.
