Offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation, access to the beach, views of the beach and the ocean. This modern architecturally designed north facing property allows you to enjoy all the comfort and surrounds you dream of. A few steps from the property and you will be walking along the golden sands of one of the best beaches in the Bay of Islands. The far north of New Zealand is considered a sunshine heaven enjoying sub-tropical conditions through the year. While the main beach at Russell (Kororareka- the original name of the town), is a lovely spot for a dip, locals and visitors alike prefer to pop over the hill to the more accessible Long Beach (Oneroa Bay). Long beach is a pleasant 17 minutes walk or 3 minutes drive from Russell town center. Enjoy all day sun on the main balcony during the summer, Autumn, Spring and through part of Winter. At night a pleasant breeze to cool you off. Spectacular views from the balconies and water views from some rooms and the shared living and dining spaces. Enjoy the serenity of nature and the constant rhythmic sound of the waves when outside or when inside the property. Go out for a paddle, swim, fish, picnic or simply relax at the beach. Of the three bedrooms, two rooms available for accommodation both offer modern comfort. Room1 -Waitata has twin beds (or a super King configuration), and comes with an ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Room2-Oneroa will share a bathroom with the host. Both rooms enjoy sweeping views out to the sea. Room 3- Hosts A selection of activities are offered in the area, such as boat trips to the Islands, visit the Hole in the Rock, dolphin spotting, snorkeling, diving, fishing, boating, surfing, kayaking, and paragliding. We can assist in arranging bookings for the various activities offered in the region. Russell Village bars and restaurants, Russell Museum, Christ Church, Flagstaff, Pompelier House and the ferry service to Paihia, all within a 2 km vicinity from the property. Free parking for one car on premise. We can arrange for airport transfer to and from Keri Keri airport and luggage storage, please ask about this. Go on treat your self to a romantic holiday!
