Bush Studio Workshops

General information

Classes are offered when planets coincide. Short classes for boys, girls, kids+grannies, rapid 1hr rings for everyone, wedding rings for couples to make together, classes for building prescription eyeglass frames.
A special area is custom tuition: a course of sessions at a time that suits you and at your pace. You tell me what you want to cover, how important things are, show me what you already do well and I try to fit my tuition into what you already know.

FEES [November 2013]
$70/hr - Tuition one-on-one.
$20/hr - Studio use or bench time.
$15 - Evaluation time 15min.

BASIC Sessions and Courses
Good for people starting out who need a some tuition and then self-directed time at the jewellery bench, or you want some help with a project, or want to upgrade your existing skills.
We can make a custom timetable where sessions take fewer days or are spread over several weeks.
$125 - 3hr BASIC session
(1hr tuition plus 2hrs bench time and an evaluation)
$460 - a course of four BASIC sessions
$1250 - a course of 12 BASIC sessions

INTENSIVE Sessions and Courses
More tuition time if you want to cover more processes or go to a more advanced level.
$ 210 - 5hr INTENSIVE session
(2hrs tuition plus 3hrs bench time and an evaluation)
$ 800 - a course of four INTENSIVE sessions

Introductory offer
A time to check me out and to see if you like the studio, plus make a quick piece of jewellery and talk about what you want to do, or maybe to make a start on a project.
$50 available to new students, duration 1 hour.

Materials extra as needed (prices fluctuate)
silver: $2-$2.50/gram
gold: $70-$80/gram

WEDDING RING EXPERIENCE
$700 tuition fee for you both, plus the gold at wholesale price.

Prices inclusive of 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

NOTE For health and safety reasons, studio access during self-directed time is naturally dependant on your demonstrated skill level. Beginners might have some restrictions to studio facilities placed on them. Master-class and professional students might have access to all the studio facilities.
