Our goal at the Recharge Room is to give everyday athletes affordable access to professional recovery techniques in a relaxing environment. We have four Compression Therapy Boots, comfy lazy boys with built in USB and power points, self massage sticks and rollers, free Wi-Fi, an assortment of teas and cold water.

This is passive recovery!!! Jump on the lazy boy, zip up your boots, sit back and listen to your favourite tunes, catch up on social media or close your eyes and sleep.

Recovery
Recovery is highly regarded as one of the most essential elements of athletic training, however it is also one of the most overlooked parts of an athletes training program. Recovery is the time when the training adaptation (repair and growth) takes place through the worked muscles. Enhancing an athlete’s recovery can help an athlete resume training at a baseline level, reduce associated pain and increase the readiness for competition.

What is “Compression Therapy”?
Compression Therapy accelerates your body’s natural ability to flush metabolic waste and excess fluid out of your limbs. The boots compress your legs to mimic your venous return system, increasing circulation. Increased circulation will assist with waste removal, decreasing inflammation and restoring delivery of nutrients to muscles.
