Sanitarium® House Rules / General Terms & Conditions

We love seeing your comments, but we do ask that you keep interactions clean, positive and respectful. We will remove, at our discretion, anything we deem inappropriate or offensive to the spirit of the supporter audience. Please be respectful of other participants by complying with the terms and policies of Facebook and avoid posting spam or comments that:

Attack or discriminate other users
Contain expletives
Have inflammatory religious content
Reference a third party page or website
Use the page to promote personal causes, charities or business activities
Any comments and posts that breach these terms will be removed. If an individual repeatedly violates this policy, that user will be blocked from posting in the future. Sanitarium claims no liability in any way connected to the use of or access to this Facebook page.

By making any contribution to this Facebook page – including comments, photos or videos – you are granting Sanitarium permission to reuse this content inside the Facebook platform. Permission will be sought via an individual request to the owner of the comment if Sanitarium® wishes to utilise the content outside of the Facebook platform. Please direct message the page admin with any questions or concerns.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS – SANITARIUM CEREALS® FACEBOOK COMPETITIONS

Sanitarium® reserves the right to verify the validity of the entries at any time, and reserves the right to disqualify any individual (and ALL submissions submitted by that individual) for tampering with the entry process, including but not limited to submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, using multiple Facebook accounts or providing false details. Failure of Sanitarium® to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Unless otherwise stated in the specific terms and conditions of the relevant competition, all SANITARIUM CEREALS® competitions conducted via Facebook are open to New Zealand residents aged 13 and over and Sanitarium® employees (including their immediate families), its agencies and companies directly associated with such competition will be ineligible to enter.
From time to time prizes may be given away in "Comment to Win" posts where entrants must comment in the posts where indicated to have a chance at winning.
Unless indicated otherwise, a random draw will be conducted two days following each "Comment to Win" and the winner(s) announced accordingly.
The winners will be notified of their prize via a tag on the post in which they have commented on. In this tag Sanitarium® will ask the winners to private message in order to confirm prize details. If no response is received within 48 hours then new winners may be drawn on these same terms and conditions at Sanitarium®'s discretion.
Sanitarium® is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction.
Sanitarium®'s decision is final in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
Sanitarium® reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any competition at any time.
Entrants agree to participate in any publicity and/or news media activities in connection with any competition.
Sanitarium® reserves the right to use any entrant's name, voice, image and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without additional compensation, unless otherwise advised by the entrant.
All comments, posts and competition entries become the property of Sanitarium®. Where personal information is collected and stored by Sanitarium® it will be done so in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. You have the right to access your personal information and request correction of any errors in it pursuant to the Privacy Act 1993. By entering a competition, each entrant is taken to consent to Sanitarium® using the entrant's personal information to administer the competition (where applicable) and disclosing the entrant's personal information to organisations that assist Sanitarium® with administering the competition.
Any comment, post or entry into a competition will be deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
