At Bohemein Fresh Chocolates, our aim is to bring the high standard of European Chocolate craftsmanship and quality to New Zealand taste buds. We want you to experience the same feeling as if you had just strolled off the boulevards of Brussels, Paris or Prague. We use only fresh, high-quality ingredients. We craft these ingredients with passion and skill, and deliver chocolates that we think rival any in the world.

It all started when Head Chocolatier, Jiri (George) Havlik, fell in love with chocolate when he was only 12 years-old. His passion grew as he worked as a Pastry Chef in his homeland in the Czech Republic. Once in New Zealand, he fulfilled a lifelong dream, opening Bohemein Fresh Chocolates in Wellington in 2005. George, along with his personally-selected-team, brings his vision of high-quality chocolates to life at their purpose built Miramar workshop. Everything is made with fresh, natural ingredients. At Bohemein, we craft chocolates like a jeweller crafts gold. Every chocolate is a little piece of perfection.

Many people ask us why our chocolates taste better than the rest. It's a combination of many things, but most importantly:

We have the passion, technique and knowledge to take already fantastic, fresh ingredients and showcase them in our high-quality couverture (chocolate).
As far as we know, we are the only chocolate company in New Zealand that doesn't use any artificial flavours or preservatives.
When you taste strawberries in our chocolates, you’re tasting real fresh strawberries. When you taste hazelnuts, they are real hazelnuts.
Because Bohemein Fresh Chocolates are free of artificial preservatives, they have a shorter than usual shelf-life. Our chocolates will keep for up to 4 weeks. Compare this with other companies' shelf-life of months...or longer. But we encourage you to eat them as soon as you possibly can!

Competition Terms and Conditions:

1. Instructions on how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into a Bohemein Fresh Chocolates Facebook™ page post giveaway on Facebook™ (“Promotion”) is deemed to be acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.

2. The Promotion is open to all New Zealand residents aged 18 and above, who are actually living in New Zealand, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this promotion, and the immediate families of all such employees.

3. Entry into the Promotion consists of an eligible entrant Liking under specific Promotion page posts on the Bohemein Fresh Chocolates page on Facebook™ as directed in the page post during the timeframe specified in the page post (“Promotion Period”). Following the Promotion page post, the winner(s) will be chosen at random from the Likes and asked to private message their contact details to the Bohemein Fresh Chocolates page on Facebook™ in order to receive collection details for the prize.

4. No entries will be accepted after the Promotion Period closes following the Promotion page post. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt on the Facebook™ page and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.

5. Each valid entrant will be notified as a winner on the Bohemein Fresh Chocolates page on Facebook™ underneath the corresponding Promotion page post.

6. The prize winner(s) will be contacted by the Promoter within 24 hours of the end of the Promotion Period during Mon-Fri, or on the following Monday if the promotion runs later than 5.00pm on a Friday.

7. The prize(s) are listed in the post. The value of the prize will be described (if possible) in the Promotion page post.

8. If the winning entrant does not supply their contact details, including contact phone number and postage address, within 48 hours of being contacted via Facebook™ and reasonable measures have been taken by or on behalf of the Promoter to make contact with the winner, that prize will be given away to another selected entry from all remaining valid entries received during the Promotion Period.

9. In the event that any of the elements of the prize(s) become unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, the Promoter will endeavour to re-schedule the elements of the prizes as practicable or substitute prizes of equal value.

10. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

11. The selection results are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

12. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to New Zealand regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.

13. By entering the Promotion, you agree to the use of your name and the content of your page comment for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agree that the Promoter will own copyright for any such answers for all material.

14. Subject to any applicable laws which cannot be excluded, the Promoter, its employees and agents and Facebook™ will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature incurred or suffered by any person (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss or loss arising from negligence) arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion or with winning, redeeming or benefiting from the prize.

15. The Promoter may amend these Terms and Conditions or cease Promotions at any time.

16. The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are late, misdirected or lost and takes no responsibility for any entries not lodged correctly through the Bohemein Fresh Chocolates page on Facebook™.

17. The Promoter is Bohemein Fresh Chocolates Ltd., 32 Waitoa Road, Hataitai, Wellington 6021, New Zealand.

18. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or the responsibility of, Facebook™. You understand that you are providing your information to the Promoter. The information you provide will be held and used only for the purpose of this promotion.
