General information

Based in Hamilton New Zealand, Works Filter Systems specialises in Water Treatment Plants, with a particular emphasis on refurbishing existing plants to improve the quality and performance of the plant and reduce operating costs. New plants have been built for a number of clients, including specialist recycling plants and new installations at remote sites.


Our parent company, Silicon Industries provides the sand and media we use for our filters. Silicon Industries has been involved in water treatment for over twenty years and is one of New Zealands' leading suppliers of filtration media. Both companys have close associations with universities throughout New Zealand, and in particular, The University of Waikato. There have been numerous collaborative research projects undertaken, providing independent University support for the proven systems offered.
