Valagro, the largest Biostimulant company in the world, and a leader in micronutrient supplies, purchased Pacific Grower in December 2012, establishing a subsidiary in New Zealand: Valagro Pacific Ltd. Pisa University and Valagro have developed a unique Geapower system which screens all 22,000 DNA plant genes.
When certain plant extracts are applied to a plant Geapower measures DNA activity changes, switching on and performing different functions e.g protect against frost; make bigger roots; increase cell division for bigger fruit.
