General information

Charlotte is a Clinical Psychologist in Private Practice at the Somerfield Centre in Spreydon.

As a clinical psychologist I have worked in a variety of settings, over the past 20 years, in the areas of historic trauma, childhood sexual abuse, grief, mediation, depression, anxiety / stress management, and employment related difficulties.

My current specialties are in the assessment and treatment of:

- Depression, particularly where self esteem and motivation have been impacted

- Anxiety / stress management including treatment of specific phobias and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

- Peri-natal depression

- Autisic Spectrum Disorders (ASD) especially with regard to social anxiety and social skills

- Couple relationships - where one partner has an ASD

- Grief

- Other Neurodevelopmental disorders - dyspraxia, ADHD

- support for the individuals and/or their families

I work with adolescents and adults, with both short term and longer term therapy approaches and alongside other community agencies.
